After poor earnings and a tidal wave of negative PR surrounding big titles over the past few years like Star Wars: The Old Republic, MassEffect 3 and most recently, SimCity, it appears a change was in order.
After a wave of negative opinion, petitions, charity campaigns and cupcake donations, gamers upset over the lack of choice in MassEffect 3 convinced the writers and developers at Bioware that the ending to their epic space trilogy was imperfect, and that they had to go back to the drawing board to satisfy gamers.
