abstract:The National Lottery Commission is a United Kingdom's non-departmental public body set up on 1 April 1999 under the National Lottery Act 1998 to regulate the National Lottery. It replaced the Director General and the Office of the National Lottery (OFLOT).
The NationalLotteryCommission rejected both Camelot's and the People's Lottery's bids to run the lottery in August saying there were problems with each package of proposals.
