Water co-operation has multipledimensions including cultural, educational, scientific, religious, ethical, social, political, legal, institutional and economic aspects.
The IYWC launch event will be an occasion to raise awareness on the multipledimensions of water cooperation, such as sustainable and economic development, climate change, food security or gender.
Results released in May 2011 for the Unisys Security Index, a semi-annual survey of consumer opinion on multipledimensions of security, showed that 56 percent of Americans saw cargo transported by air, sea or land as extremely or very vulnerable to malicious or terrorist attack.
