WiGig is powered by the first 60 GHz multi-gigabit wireless chipsets developed by Wilocity and brought to the Dell Latitude 6430u by Qualcomm Atheros, Inc.
"Multi-gigabit wireless connectivity in the 60 GHz spectrum is no longer about technology demos and future-state conversations, " said Tal Tamir, chief executive officer of Wilocity.
By integrating a solution that combines whole home, gigabit-class Wi-Fi with in-room, multi-gigabit connectivity into their devices, equipment manufacturers will benefit from the ultra-high speed this newest solution offers.
