This year, heavy rain turned the festival site at Seaclose Park, Newport, into a mudbath, which forced festival-goers to sleep in their cars as traffic became gridlocked.
Since the 1930s a favorite retreat for the area's elite (Tim Robbins's mudbath in The Player was filmed there), it's another example of a spa with untapped potential.
