abstract:MSCDEX or Microsoft MS-DOS CD-ROM Extensions is a software program produced by Microsoft and included with MS-DOS 6.x and certain versions of Microsoft Windows.
Look for a line in the file containing mscdex.exe and delete everything up to it, so that the line begins with mscdex.exe. (You can remove all subsequent lines from the file, too.) Save the file.
