"It is another reminder of the need to apply some common sense when following sat-nav instructions in a rural and mountainousarea such as ours, especially with the prevailing weather conditions, " said Aberdyfi Search and Rescue Team member Graham O'Hanlon.
They also interviewed registered sex offenders in the area, ran down leads and searched in attics, storage sheds and more in the rural, mountainous community located about 60 miles southeast of Sacramento.
