West Indies enjoyed a good morning session as Chanderpaul and Runako Morton extended their fourth wicket partnership to 128 before Morton, on 67, gave a catch to Stuart Clark at mid-on off leg-spinner Stuart MacGill.
Collingwood swung defiantly to send Santh over mid-wicket and down to fine-leg for 10 in two balls before another thrash over mid-wicket made it 16 off the over.
There was no repeat of the heroics at Old Trafford as Broad chipped Piyush Chawla to mid-wicket, but Collingwood slogged the leg-spinner for his fourth six.
