abstract:The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) serves as the Council of Governments (COG) and the Metropolitan Planning Organization (MPO) for the bistate Kansas City region. MARC encourages cooperation and collaboration on issues that extend beyond the jurisdiction of a single city, county or state.
We had the opportunity to tour the Zone with Margaret May, Director of the Ivanhoe Neighborhood Community Center and David Warm, Executive Director of the Mid-America RegionalCouncil (MARC).
