abstract:Michael Knight is an American writer and an Alabama native. He has received numerous awards, including the New Writing Award from the Fellowship of Southern Writers and the Hemingway Foundation/PEN Award Special Citation, both in 1999, and the Henfield Foundation Award for Fiction in 1996.
He went on the England A tour to India and Bangladesh in 1995 when his teammates included Nick Knight, Michael Vaughan, Dominic Cork, Ian Salisbury, who will all be involved in action for the senior side this winter.
