Steven Sasson invented the digital camera itself, starting at Kodak in the 1970s with an eight-and-a-half-pound box connected to a magnetic tape drive and a TV set, which produced a .01 megapixelimage.
The NEX-C3 is rumored to include the same 16.2 megapixelimage sensor used in the Sony Alpha A55 DSLR, as well as HD video capture (as expected) and the new flash seen in the image above.
