Existing regional mediastructures will be taken into account to promote and monitor press freedom, and to develop joint activities aimed at regulating and promoting media through professional training.
The assessment focused on the gender perspective of community media in Namibia and spotlighted the status of governance structures, women media practitioners and content related to female audiences.
