As a follow up to the earlier blog written on the Barber Amendment (legislation to reduce the number of inmates by increasing time earned for good behavior), I came across a letter from Attorney General Eric Holder (Thanks to Mark Varca at FedCURE for bringing to my attention) on the impact of the pending government sequester.
As it moves onto 1, 000 screens across the U.S. this weekend from 650, "Life" becomes the first foreign-language movie to hit that mark, easily passing the previous record holder, "Il Postino, " which played on roughly 400 screens.
