Artists who contributed works to the riverside event -- which formed part of the week-long London Boat Show -- include the fashion duo Mark Eley and Wakako Kishimoto, portrait artist Christian Furr, as well as musician and actor, Goldie.
We doubt Mark, if that is his name, expected to win the boat: His last purchase was a chintzy watercolor of some blue crustaceans entitled "Crabs Galore".
"If you look at the marketing for a 35-foot boat, they tell you how many people it will sleep, " says Mark Masciarotte of DSG Associates, a Vancouver, Washington yacht consultant.
