abstract:Marc Prensky (born March 15, 1946 in New York City) is an American writer and speaker on learning and education. He is best known as the inventor and popularizer of the terms "digital native" and "digital immigrant" which he described in a 2001 article in "On the Horizon".
The post-millennial "digital native, " a term coined by U.S. author MarcPrensky in 2001 is emerging as the globe's dominant demographic, while the "digital immigrant, " becomes a relic of a previous time.
