On a more serious note, he said the closeness of the election "should make it cleartoall of us that we can come together to heal whatever wounds may exist, whatever residuals there may be".
"Furthermore, Mr Rudd wishes tomake 100% cleartoall members of the parliamentary Labor Party, including his own supporters, that there are no circumstances under which he will return to the Labor Party leadership in the future, " the brief statement read.
