abstract:Madureira is a neighborhood in the North Zone of the city of Rio de Janeiro. Its population is basically middle class and lower middle-class, including some shanty towns, (favelas).
With Darksiders 2 less than one day away from launch, I had a chance to speak with Madureira about his move from comic books to video games, Darksiders 2, and how a history in comic books impacted the development and style of the Darksiders franchise and its highly stylized, comic-book aesthetic.
