In order to ensure device anonymity, the Bluetooth sensors only send a derivative of each device's MACaddress to the bridge's main controller, so consider this a Bluesnarfing safe-zone.
My "luk" was not "werking" as ghosts in the machine mysteriously wiped out the MACaddress on the USB HomePlug adapter in the unit I tried, and the HomePlug bridge that I normally use had some compatibility issues.
We tried it then and it couldn't have been easier, logging in while connected to your home network flips the switch based on IP address or MACaddress, and then it worked at home or on the go, no password necessary.
