This is the hardest step of breaking up and also a step you just can't face and accept. At this step, you may cry a lot, feel helpless, lonely or empty. You simply refuse to believe what has happened knowing that you will never get it over. It's natural that you feel that way, but don't let it go further. What you can do is to face it and accept it as quickly as possible so you can begin the healing process and move on.
