It is a wonderful feeling to wake up on the first day, to realize that we are now livinginanew home inanew city inanew country, and to wonder what experiences lie ahead.
And I think, unfortunately, Katrina revealed that there's a gap between the ideal we have as a country and the reality that people are living every dayin places like the Ninth Ward of New Orleans.
