Nathan Peat restored the Blues' lead with another penalty three minutes later, only for Kevin Larvin to pull the Unibond Premier Division side level with the final kick of the 90 minutes.
Trinity took the lead for the third time in the match when Wes Parker scored mid-way through the first period of extra time, but Larvin netted his second a minute after the break to make it 3-3.
