abstract:Lawrence "Larry" Norman (born April 5, 1966 in Toronto) is a Canadian slalom canoer who competed from the late 1980s to the late 1990s. Competing in two Summer Olympics, he earned his best finish of 18th in the C-1 event in Atlanta in 1996.
Norman lost out to Augusta native Larry Mize in a playoff in 1987, just a year after his bogey at the 18th allowed Jack Nicklaus to win his 18th and final major.
Third-round leader Greg Norman of Australia had to settle for a tie for sixth with American Larry Mize after a familiar collapse as he slumped to a 71.
