abstract:In architecture, the lantern tower is a tall construction above the junction of the four arms of a cruciform (cross-shaped) church, with openings through which light from outside can shine down to the crossing. Many lantern towers are usually octagonal, and gives an extra dimension to the decorated interior of the dome.
The film, expected in theaters in July and starring Ryan Reynolds (Van Wilder, Green Lantern), Paul Giamatti (Sideways, John Adams) and Michael Pena (Gangster Squad, Tower Heist), depicts a snail that, through some strange turn of events, manages to become capable of great speeds in the aftermath of a freak accident.
