abstract:In molecular biology, the lamprin family of proteins consists of several lamprin proteins from the Sea lamprey Petromyzon marinus. Lamprin, an insoluble non-collagen, non-elastin protein, is the major connective tissue component of the fibrillar extracellular matrix of lamprey annular cartilage.
