abstract:Kevin McCarty (born in 1972) is a Sacramento, California, city councilman who represents the 6th district which includes part of the eastern and southeastern parts of the city. Prior to being elected to the Sacramento City Council, McCarty served as policy director to former California Lieutenant Governor Cruz Bustamante, and as an assembly budget committee consultant to former California State Assembly member Denise Moreno Ducheny.
