The Grade I-listed hall, near the coastal town of Seaton Sluice, was built by Sir JohnVanbrugh, and is widely regarded as one of the finest works of the English Baroque period.
Wall texts, drawings, photographs and videos, under the supervision of art historian and guest curator Owen Hopkins, trace Hawksmoor's collaborations with Wren and JohnVanbrugh, as well as his solo commissions in London and elsewhere in England.
