Liu's ex-campaign treasurer, Jia "Jenny" Hou, and former Liu fundraiser Xing "Oliver" Wu Pan are facing federal charges of conspiring to break campaign finance laws.
The trial of fundraiser Xing Wu "Oliver" Pan and his co-defendant, former Liu campaign treasurer Jia "Jenny" Hou, was scheduled to start this week but now could be postponed for as long as two months.
The jurors also heard lawyers for Liu's ex-campaign treasurer, Jia "Jenny" Hou, and former fundraiser Xing "Oliver" Wu Pan portray them as political neophytes caught in the crossfire of an overzealous corruption investigation of Liu's campaign finances.
