New Chief Executive JamesCantalupo has cut back new store openings, announced a revamped advertising campaign, launched premium salads (copying Wendy's) and promised to bring back popular in-store games like Monopoly.
Already the number of international stores and sales exceeds both measures for the U.S. Under the direction of foreign operations chief JamesCantalupo, 55, 95% of all new McDonald's stores will be overseas, at least for the next five years.
