So, this is actually kind of neat to point out, because we all remember J.J. Thomson ThomsonJ JThomson from our second lecture, and J.J. Thomson got a Nobel Prize in 1906 for showing that electrons exist in that they are particles.
Tucked away in a quiet, grassy compound on JJThomson Avenue--appropriately named after the Nobel laureate who discovered the electron--the center takes advantage of resources and additional researchers from the university.
