abstract:The International Council on Archives (ICA; in French: Conseil international des archives) is an international non-governmental organization which exists to promote international cooperation in archiving. It was set up in 1948, with Charles Samaran, the then director of the Archives de France, as chairman, and membership is open to national and international organisations, professional groups and individuals.
Thus it would propose that upon endorsement by ACCIS the ERMIS products be made as widely available as possible through the good offices of the InternationalCouncilonArchives and its constituent member organizations.
