The French version of the module was produced by the AgriculturalResearchCentre for International Development (CIRAD) with financial support from the Technical Centre for Agricultural and Rural Cooperation ACP-EU (CTA), the French Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs and UNESCO.
Scientists at the InternationalCentre for AgriculturalResearch in the Dry Areas (ICARDA) reckon it could affect 50m hectares and that some farmers could lose a third of their crops.
