Our tendency to view copyright as being about copying has led to a futile campaign to stamp out every last infringingcopy on the Internet, and it has also caused people to assume that allowing copying means abandoning copyright protection.
The system could the force a reboot if it detects what it considers an infringing act, such as attempting to copy a CD or DVD, even if that disc isn't explicitly protected by StarForce.
"Rather than innovate and develop its own technology and a unique Samsung style for its smart phone products and computer tablets, Samsung chose to copy Apple's technology, user interface and innovative style in these infringing products, " Apple said in its 38-page suit.
