In this paper,we propose a new edge finding technology to fit to MR images with truncation artifact. In our method,any truncation artifact digit signal can be expressed as the weighted sum of truncated singularity functions (TSF) relatea to the signal singularity locations,and the singularity locations and weight coefficients can be determined by this signal. Edges of MR images with truncation artifacts can be constructed by these singularity locations. False edges due to truncation artifacts can be removed using this method.
