This paper designs a workflow description language——X-WPDL, implements workflow engine centering on peers, translates workflow described by X-WPDL into a series of “execution in order” related to processing operation, offers an interface between manager and participant, discusses design of X-WPDL, structure and operation of engine, and verifies the application of the engine.
