abstract:In 3D computer graphics, the image plane is that plane in the world which is identified with the plane of the monitor. If one makes the analogy of taking a photograph to rendering a 3D image, the surface of the film is the image plane.
Additionally, it features a macro switching ring on the lens barrel which instantly shortens the minimum focusing distance to approximately 20cm (from imageplane), allowing the camera to capture small, close-up subjects with exquisite detail.
Police officers, the UK's Angolan community and residents of a west London street where a stowaway fell to his death from a plane are hoping a computerised image of the man's face and a photo of his tattoo will lead to his identification.
