I sighed as I walked back to my bag and took out my phone. I dialled mom's number and sat back on the couch, lifting my feet on the table. 'Mom wouldn't find out...' I thought to myself. The phone line kept on ringing yet no one was answering. I started getting worried...mom always picks up after the 3rd ring. I clutched onto the phone tighter and waited for someone to answer. After a few more rings, the ringing stopped.
