He had eyes black as stone and gorgeous brown hair. He absolutely terrified me. I was startled when he finally spoke pulling me from my thoughts. “Are you sure she is the one?” as he glanced to a man I guessed was my attacker “yes your highness, just look she has the mark” he was pointing to the birthmark by my eye. I had always been self conscious about the mark and immediately went to cover it. “Remove your hand from your face” It was the first time he had spoken directly to me his voice rang with authority.
