The world is different when it's the people you know, and Idonot think we will be able to resist the forces of change when our friends are dying on screen, in front of us, and we know that we could do something but have decided not to.
As far as dissatisfaction is concerned, data that I collected over 40 years ago show that when employees donotknow what other people earn, they overestimate what their coworkers earn and end up being more dissatisfied than they would be if they had accurate pay information.
