• abstract: Huping Ling () (born 1956) is a Professor of History at Truman State University and an award-winning author. She is an expert on the history of the Chinese diaspora in the United States,an editor for the Journal of Asian American Studies, an Adjunct Professor, Wuhan Theoretical Research Center of Overseas Chinese Affairs Office of the State Council, China, and a Visiting Professor of the Institute of Overseas Chinese Studies at Jinan University.
