He used to act as Deputy editor-in-chief, reviewing editor, Vice-chairman of Gansu Provincial Writers' Association. He's a member of China Writers' Association, councilor of China Poetry Academy. His publications include collections of poems 《Wrecked Mountain Entrance》、《Cutting Punishment of Love》、《Fortune Teller》、《Hot Rain》、《The Dwarf's Pub》and 《Collection of Poems of He Lai》, etc.
