The chill began to freeze Marcus, as whispers began in his ear. He jerked forward slightly when a burning began in his arm, a sense of wrongness made fear creep up. Then Aaron closed his eyes, his lips moving, but no sound met Marcus's ears. He was about to ask what was going on when Aaron grabbed his shoulder and pulled. Marcus's legs moved this time and he felt warmth come back to his body. The tips of his fingers were still a bit numb but he worked his hands trying to pump blood through them. “What the hell was that?” He finally asked then noticed some of the Geonites surrounding them, all cowering, began to whisper between themselves.
