abstract:Hip-huggers are a style of pants worn by both men and women, generally made of denim and fitted tightly around the hips and thighs, while flaring out towards the lower leg. They were first designed by Irene Kasmer in 1957 for Ardee.
Customers, many of them just off work, mingle among the racks of hip-huggers, jeans and skimpy tops on the store's fifth floor, now newly youth-oriented.
