Some roads remain closed in Hest Bank and Morecambe while Bottomdale Road in Hest Bank has been closed between the A6 Slyne Road junction and the Foundry Lane junction.
Since the disaster, Chinese migrants are thought to have moved away from north-west England: there were none among the cocklers who returned to the sands near Hest Bank on February 10th.
