abstract:Hectopsyllidae is a small family of fleas, containing only the chigoe fleas and the sticktight fleas. They were formerly known as Tungidae, and by authorities that demote the Pulicoidea to family rank they are treated as subfamily Hectopsyllinae (formerly Tunginae).
