Health education was performed among the 13 patients with hypertrophi c cardiomyopathy treated by percutaneous transluminal septal myocardial chemical ablation before and after operation, in the way of utility of pictures, video, lectures, individual instructions. The health education combined with mental car e, diet instruction, instruction of defecation at supine position, and rehabilit ation instructions, has gained better effect. The tension was alleviated and the ability of self-care was increased.
