abstract:Hapalogenys, commonly the barbeled grunters, is the only genus of fish in the family Hapalogenyidae.Springer & Raasch, 1995 The species of this genus are found in depths between 30 and 230 m in coastal areas and river mouths from the shores of southern Japan to the Bay of Bengal and Northwestern Australia.
