abstract:Guo Shuqing (; born 1956) is a politician and business executive of the People's Republic of China. He is the Governor of Shandong province, and formerly served as Chairman of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), Chairman of China Construction Bank, Vice-Governor of the People's Bank of China and Vice-Governor of Guizhou Province as well as the director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange.
On March 17th GuoShuqing, China's leading foreign-exchange official, replaced Mr Zhang as the bank's party chief (a job that usually goes with the chairmanship).
