Adding trivalent transition metalions,reducing additives’ particle size and controlling the sintering schedule can significantly reduce the grain size,lower the porosity,increase the number of grain boundaries and enhance the grain boundary barrier,thus effectively improve the potential gradient of ZnO varistor.
