In 1975 he founded the artistic movement the Brotherhood of Ruralists - artists who had left the city to live in the countryside - with then-wife Annie Ovenden, as well as fellow artists Jann Haworth, GrahamArnold, David Inshaw, and pop artist Sir Peter Blake.
Gaffney presented this view in testimony before the House Armed Services Committee this morning in the company of Dr. Graham Allison, one of the authors of the Grand Bargain, and Arnold Horelick of the Rand Corporation.
