Slovenia's total trade with Serbia has almost trebled since 2005, but more importantly many Slovenian companies and not just top corporate names like Mercator, Gorenje and Merkur have invested heavily in Serbia, hoping to expand their revenue base outside the narrow confines of the small domestic market.
